Employ Milwaukee 1st Annual Fundraiser

Employ Milwaukee is thrilled to host our first-ever fundraiser event on October 13th! 

The fundraiser will not only support our agency's various programs, but will also serve as an opportunity for our many partners and supporters to mix and mingle in a fesive atmosphere.

A brief profile of our keynote speaker for the event, as well as, event sponsorship/ donation opportunities are included below: 

Employ Milwaukee is delighted to welcome Billye Suber Aaron, wife of the late, legendary Hall of Fame Major League Baseball player and Milwaukee Hero 'Hammerin' Hank Aaron as the keynote speaker of our 1st Annual Fundraiser event. Mrs. Aaron is a multi-talented class act known for her impeccable reputation as a newscaster, journalist and philanthropist. Billye is also notable as the first African-American woman in the southeastern United States to regularly co-host a television show, starting with her debut on "Today in Georgia," in 1968. Billye went on to host her own show from there. Billye and her husband also dedicated their lives to giving back through the founding of the Chasing the Dream Foundation, Inc.

Among other noteworthy accomplishments, Billye also founded the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) Masked Ball and is a recipient of the Martin Luther King, Jr. "Salute to Greatness" award and YWCA Woman of Achievement award, respectively.
