On December 18, 2025, community leaders honored the dynamic legacies of Bishop Sedgwick Daniels, Dr. Maria Monreal-Cameron, and the Honorable Vel R. Phillips and celebrated the unwavering dedication of the iconic Mr. Reuben Harpole to the foundation of our youth's education. The program featured live music by Grammy Award-winning cellist Malik Johnson and inspiring remarks from community leaders Mr. Mark Wade and Pastor Robert Pyles.

Thank you to our sponsors! Donations to the event support programs that empower youth and adults on their career journeys through high-demand sector trainings, paid work experience, on-the-job training and job readiness skills. As the local workforce development board serving Milwaukee County, Employ Milwaukee convenes leaders from business and industry, economic and workforce development, education and training as well as community partners and policy makers to develop workforce solutions that promote regional economic growth and employment opportunities for all job seekers.
