FORWD is a workforce training program led by Employ Milwaukee designed to support individuals impacted by the opioid crisis. Through specialized training, supportive services, and real-world work experience, FORWD helps participants rebuild their careers and their futures.
Through FORWD, participants can:
Receive paid training and certification in recovery-focused roles
Access supportive services to reduce employment barriers
Gain hands-on experience through temporary work opportunities
Connect with long-term career opportunities in peer support and recovery
