Q: Where can I go or who can I call to begin an assessment for recovery services? A: The Community Access to Recovery Services (CARS) Department of Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Services offers a variety of community-based access point locations that you or your loved one can easily visit or call.
The staff at each community-based access point location are specially trained to help you or your loved one begin the CARS assessment process. Working with you or your loved one, they will make recommendations for the treatment and recovery services that best meet your needs.

A: The FORWD program seeks to help eligible individuals impacted by opioid use with training and supported employment in recovery-related fields. A: Employers that provide recovery-related services may be eligible to host participants in subsidized work placements if they are eligible and meet the program criteria.
