Youth between ages 14-20 can join the Milwaukee Junior Fire Institute. Young adults between ages 17-19 can become a Fire Cadet with the City of Milwaukee. High School juniors and seniors can participate in the North Shore Fire Rescue Cadet Program.
Youth Apprenticeships are also available in the Law, Public Safety, Corrections and Security occupational program and Health Science program. All applicants will need to participate in the Department of Workforce Development (DWD) Youth Apprenticeship Program. Learn more and apply here!
