WISE (Wisconsin Senior Employment) provides unemployed adults aged 55 and older with part-time, paid work experience in community service organizations. The on-the-job experience helps build and improve participants' skills for permanent employment. After qualifying for the program, each WISE program participant receives individual job counseling and a comprehensive assessment. Together, the job seeker and WISE Coordinator prepare an individual employment plan to be used as a guide during work placement.
