
Employ Milwaukee’s Business Solutions team works closely with businesses to understand their needs and provide tailored talent solutions including labor market information, recruitment, job readiness training, pre-screening, specialized training, On-The-Job (OJT) training, human resource services, and retention services. Jeffrey McAlister
Jeff has been improving community outreach and relations within EMI’s Business Solutions team for 14 years! In his current position as a Business Solutions Manager, Jeff oversees employer engagement, which includes working with local employers to understand their workforce needs, collaborating with EMI Program Managers to fulfill those needs, and coordinating hiring events.

Frederick Nelson
Frederick Nelson has been a member of Employ Milwaukee’s team for over 6 years. As a Business Sector Specialist, Frederick’s primary tasks include assisting and connecting employers with desirable talent, organizing hiring events and continuing to develop EMI’s relationships with local hiring managers.

Karen Adams
Karen has been a team member at Employ Milwaukee for over 14 years. She started her tenure at Employ Milwaukee in administrative roles and in 2016 advanced to a role with the community engagement team. Now as a part of the Business Solutions team, Karen’s primary responsibilities are to coordinate, plan, organize, and implement rapid response activities to assist workers affected by layoffs or business closures. She assists with hiring events and follows up with job seekers on their employment status and additional assistance, as needed.

Latisha Bowman
Latisha Bowman offers more than 10 years of administrative expertise and is pursuing a master’s degree in counseling, strengthening her people‑centered approach to workforce development. She joined Employ Milwaukee as a BankWork$ Instructor in October 2024 before advancing into the Business Solutions team.
As a Business Solutions Specialist, Latisha's work encompasses business partnerships, community workforce needs, labor market trends, and funding opportunities, creating pathways for individuals from marginalized and returning populations while helping employers invest in inclusive, sustainable talent development. Driven by a strong interest in work readiness training and reentry initiatives, Latisha focuses on building reliable, long‑term employer‑employee relationships that support business growth and workforce sustainability.
